Dylan’s Boathouse | Original Limited Edition | Handmade Linocut Print

An open edition original linocut hand carved and printed by myself based on the poem Author’s Prologue by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas.

Thomas always returned to Wales when he had difficulty writing; John Ackerman argues that “His inspiration and imagination were rooted in his Welsh background”.

Thomas became widely popular in his lifetime and remained so after his premature death at the age of 39 in New York City. By then he had acquired a reputation, which he had encouraged, as a “roistering, drunken and doomed poet”.

The print comes hand signed by myself and with a series number as it is a limited edition print.
